Every year Gospel Graffiti crew plans and embarks on a journey to a major city where we use our talents to share God's hope for humanity. We call this mural mission our auGGust event and this year we will be painting in Holland with our local crewmates there. The whole crew teamed up to design this shirt to help fund the travel and paint for the trip. Each artist has created the word "gospel" in their own style to fit around our GG logo. Had the wonderful opportunity to paint a backyard and balcony in San Francisco. Peter, the owner, graciously let me stay at his 5 level mansion on Alabama St. The entire house is modern with clean lines and flat white paint on the interior. The backyard had modern furniture and bamboo in the planters so I recommended we do an Asian theme for the art. Peter agreed. Camer1 and I quickly started gathering references on Pinterest. The second story balcony looks out over the backyard so I went with a coy fish pond idea. This was such a fun project! I can't wait to do more stuff like this.
